The BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Sport Industry Skills – Leading Children’s Sports Activities has been designed to be studied over 1-year to provide students with the opportunity to learn how to lead children’s sports activities through both theory and practical based learning.
LEVEL 2 – You should have a minimum of one GCSE at Grade 4/C or above.
The course will involve an opportunity to develop sector-specific knowledge, technical and practical skills, and given the opportunity to practice these skills during work placements. This qualification is designed to be used alongside mathematics and English GCSEs and/or Functional Skills.
You will have the opportunity to assist with coaching in local primary schools and assist with officiating in local athletic championships and events.
Wolf Mountain Centre to participate in activities such as rock climbing, archery, bouldering, mountain biking, and abseiling.
The course will combine mix of theoretical and practical learning and include written coursework, presentations, and practical assessments.
