Course summary

This T Level Digital Production, Design and Development course has been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so everything you will learn will meet the needs of the industry and prepare you for work. T Levels provide the knowledge and experience needed to open the door to highly skilled employment, an Apprenticeship or higher level study, including University.

Course requirements

Six GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English and Maths.

Vocational Tech Award qualification(s) at Level 2 Merit and above in a relevant subject, e.g. BTEC Tech Award in Digital Information Technology.

Year 2

Occupational Specialism

Design, development and implementation project of an IT project

IT Industry Placement

3 months, working in the industry on an Externally Set Project

During the year, three weeks are set aside purely for the purpose of enrichment. In addition to this, trips related to the core programme may be organised.

There is usually no or minimal cost for any of these activities.

The T Level Digital Production, Design and Development course is assessed through an exam and an employer-set project.
