The Leader in Adult Care will guide and inspire teams to make positive differences to someone’s life when they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional, psychological or intellectual challenges. They will be a leader of the care team and will develop and implement a values-based culture at a service or unit level. They may be responsible for business development, financial control, organisational resilience and continuity as well as for managing risk and leading on organisational change.
The minimum entry requirements for this Level 5 Leader in Adult Care Apprenticeship are as follows;

Learners gaining this Level 5 Leader in Adult Care qualification will undertake 20 mandatory units enabling them to demonstrate knowledge and skills in the following areas:
This course will be delivered as a day release programme. You will be expected to attend one session per month – this will either be via Teams or face-to-face delivery at Sandwell College – Main Campus. The day-release element of the course will count toward the mandatory 20% off the job.
