If you are a practising or aspiring Senior Manager or Director, wanting to improve your leadership and strategic management skills and develop your ability to apply them at a strategic level within your organisation, then this course is for you. By enrolling on this course, you will be able to demonstrate to current and prospective employers your capabilities, ambition and strong commitment to your professional development. In short, this course should significantly improve your career prospects and earning power.
You must have gained at least a Level 5 CMI Diploma in Management and Leadership or equivalent qualification (e.g., HND/FdA/BA/BSc in Management). HOWEVER, we can consider your level of managerial experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
It is essential that applicants have the knowledge, skills and behaviours to drive business activities in a senior management and leadership role, this will be established via an interview.
You will study four units:-
· Strategic Leadership
· Leading and Developing People to Optimise Performance
· Developing Organisational Strategy
· Leading Strategic Change
Whilst on the course, you will be given FREE professional membership of the CMI, which includes access to a range of CMI products and services to support you throughout the qualification and later as you progress in their career.
Each unit is assessed by one written assignment of approximately 3,500-4,500 words.
On successful completion of this course, you may ‘subject to senior management experience’ progress on to a CMI Level 8 Strategic Direction and Leadership course (equivalent to a Doctorate in Management), or alternatively a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or a Masters Degree in Management and Leadership. You may also be eligible to apply for Chartered Membership of the CMI (CMgr MCMI).
