It is also suitable for learners progressing from a Maintenance and Repair Level 2 programme.

You’ll have previously completed a Level 2 Motor Vehicle qualification. You’ll be able to demonstrate a professional attitude and have excellent communication skills.

The programme is approximately 35% practical and 65% theory. Students are always encouraged to gain subject-related work experience.

Three weeks are set aside purely for the purpose of enrichment. In addition to this, trips related to the core programme may be organised. There is usually no or minimal cost for any of these activities.

The Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair course is primarily assessed through online examinations, spread over the course of the year. Practical assessments will also form an important part of the qualification.

On completion of this Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair course successful learners may choose to progress to Level 4, consider a career as an apprentice in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or gain employment within the automotive sector.
