The Level 2 Diploma in Engineering – Manufacturing Technology is designed to equip students with practical skills and foundational knowledge essential for a career in engineering. · Four GCSEs, including Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above, plus two other relevant subjects at Grade 3 or above.

· Alternatively, Level 1 qualification in a related field may also be considered.

Students typically study six units, including:

· Principles of Engineering Technology

· Principles of Electrical and Electronics Technology

· Engineering Science and Mathematics

· Mechatronics

· Computer-Aided Engineering

· Engineering Design

Assessment methods often include online multiple-choice tests, practical assessments, and the development of a portfolio of evidence.

The Level 2 Diploma in Engineering – Manufacturing Technology course requires a minimum of 30 hours of work experience.
