Davina Perrin is a shining example of how dedication, talent, and the right support can lead to success both on and off the field. A former student of Sandwell College, Davina studied the BTEC Level 3 Education & Cricket Programme, where she balanced her academic journey with her passion for cricket.
During her time at Sandwell College, Davina thrived in an environment that allowed her to develop both her sporting and academic potential. “The course created a great education between the cricket and the course,” she reflects. “I was able to have a successful education whilst also being able to thrive and grow playing cricket.”
Her hard work and commitment led her to remarkable achievements, including representing England in the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup and playing professionally for Central Sparks and Birmingham Phoenix. As a trailblazer in women’s cricket, Davina continues to inspire young athletes to pursue their dreams.
Her advice to aspiring cricketers? “Don’t be afraid to go for it, there are so many opportunities within cricket.”
Sandwell College is incredibly proud to have been part of Davina’s journey and looks forward to seeing her continue to excel in the sport she loves.
