Before the Easter break, the careers team at Sandwell College delivered a fantastic opportunity for students to boost their career confidence by organising mock interviews for over 120 Level 3 students across a range of curriculum areas.
This initiative allowed learners to develop and improve essential employability skills, including communication, professionalism, and interview techniques, all within a supportive and realistic setting.
This experience was delivered in partnership with SIPS Education Ltd, along with 12 local employers who generously volunteered their time and expertise to support our students. By engaging with real-world professionals, learners were able to gain valuable insights into employer expectations, build their confidence, and feel more prepared for their next steps, whether that is going to university, an apprenticeship, or the workplace.
