High-achieving A Level students from Sandwell College’s Central Sixth were presented with an array of awards last night to mark this year’s excellent results.
Central Sixth Student of the Year 2016 went to Nahid Ali, who earned a place at the prestigious London School of Economics to study International Relations – a degree course in which only 6% of applicants are successful.
The Helena Kennedy Prize for Law & Business was presented to Carley-Mae Roberts, who gained A grades in Accounting and Maths and a B in Business, by Sandwell Council’s Senior Manager (Sector Development) for Regeneration & Economy, Paul Smith.
