Geography students from Central Sixth have been getting real-life experience of their studies in Scarborough.
Comparing a variety of images with data they gathered, they even used ipads and GPS receivers to log their emotional response to different areas!
The learners were also looking at coastal erosion management in Withernsea and Hornsea, while the A2 students used a real life weather station to record different aspects of the weather.
Lecturer Azeem Mohammed said: “The three days away were a great educational and social experience, as for many pupils it was their first taste of living away from the comforts of home. In that respect it gave them a snapshot of what life as an adult or a university student could be like for them.”
