Grow Your Own Workforce!

We can help you recruit, train and qualify apprentices. You can use Sandwell College’s Apprenticeship service to train new or existing employees.

An apprenticeship is a training programme designed to industry standards and designed with businesses in mind. Apprenticeships can help employers recruit new talent but can also assist them in upskilling current employees. While the apprentice works for you, they also learn the core skill set at Sandwell College and study for a nationally recognised qualification.

Apprentices generally work between 30 and 40 hours per week and they spend a minimum of 20% of their annual paid working hours training towards their apprenticeship with us. This is a perfect way to invest in a future workforce whilst also adding a committed person to your headcount

For more information on the apprenticeships available, see our Apprenticeships section.
