It was an early start for the Sandwell College team as they welcomed employers and shared the benefits of the West Midlands Combined Authority Construction Gateway pilot.
The Gateway gives construction employers access to the West Midlands site-ready talent pool, and the College is working in collaboration with other network organisations to design programmes that equip potential recruits with the specific skills they need.
Guest speaker Dara McCarthy from RMF shared his successful experience of the scheme and its valuable contribution to their workforce.
