About Childcare Apprenticeships

From working in a nursery to childminding, our Childcare Apprenticeships can equip you with the essential knowledge and practical skills to ensure the safety and learning of children under 5.

The childcare apprenticeships we provide could lead to various possibilities, ranging from working in a nursery or school supporting the care and education of young people, to even self-employment as a childminder. If a career with highly rewarding positions working with early years and young people and supporting their mental and physical development is what you are looking for, our apprenticeships are perfect for you! Apprenticeships include Childcare (Early Years Educator), Childcare, Early Years Practitioner, and Teaching Assistant.

If you have good initiative, are organised, and have a natural affinity with young people, as well as the capacity to use creativity to engage them, then a childcare apprenticeship could be for you! Apprentices will be responsible for the well-being of young people and must have the ability to be proactive in ensuring safeguarding. Our apprenticeships will give you the opportunity to learn and develop best practices in line with government guidelines and ultimately the development of young children.

Our childcare apprenticeships are designed to provide you with the technical skills, theoretical understanding, and support for critical thinking in order to thrive on this career path. We strive to equip you with the skills to become a valuable member of your future workforce or become self-employed.
