If you already manage projects within your job role or are likely to manage projects in the future or aspire to have a career in project management, then a CMI Level 5 Certificate in Project Management course may be ideal for you. The course will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to manage projects successfully and overcome problems and challenges during the project management process. During the course you will plan and manage a genuine workplace project.
You must have a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above including English or equivalent qualifications. You will also have a CMI Level 3 Diploma in Management and Leadership or similar Business or Management qualification at level 3 or above.
You will study two units:-
· Managing Projects to Achieve Results
· Conducting a Management Project
Whilst on the course, you will be given FREE professional membership of the CMI, which includes access to a range of CMI products and services to support you throughout the qualification and later as you progress in their career.
Each unit is assessed by one written assignment of approximately 2,500-4,000 words. The second assignment will involve proposing, conducting and reporting on a workplace management project.
On successful completion of this course, you can progress to the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. Upon achievement of the Level 5 Diploma, you may be eligible to apply for full membership (MCMI) or even Chartered Membership of the CMI (CMgr).
