If you are a Manager or Leader with the authority and responsibility for developing and implementing a coaching and mentoring strategy across the organisation, then this course is for you. By enrolling on this course, you will build on your strategic management and leadership skills, whilst focussing on the requirements needed to embed effective coaching and mentoring practice throughout an organisation.
You must have gained at least a Level 5 CMI Diploma in Management and Leadership/Management Mentoring or Coaching or equivalent qualification (e.g. HND/FdA/BA/BSc in Management) or a CIPD Level 5 Qualification in Human Resource Management/ Organisational Development or equivalent qualification (e.g. HND/Fda/BA/BSC in HRM). HOWEVER, we are able to take into account your level of managerial experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
It is essential that applicants have the knowledge, skills and behaviours to drive ‘coaching and mentoring’ activity within an organisation at a senior management/leadership level, this will be established via an interview.
You will study one unit-
· Leadership Coaching and Mentoring Skills
Whilst on the course, you will be given FREE professional membership of the CMI, which includes access to a range of CMI products and services to support you throughout the qualification and later as you progress in their career.
You will be assessed by one written assignment of approximately 3,000-3,500 words.
On successful completion of this course, you can progress on to the CMI Level 7 Certificate/Diploma in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring or you may choose to pursue other CMI Level 7 qualifications – e.g. the CMI Level 7 Strategic Management and Leadership.
