This Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design Skills (Photography & Digital Media) course is suitable for school leavers wanting to progress to the Level 3 Photography or Level 3 Digital Media course and pursue a career in photography, animation, games design, graphic design or marketing.
You will need a Level 1 qualification or 3/4 GCSEs at Grade 3/D.
In this Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design Skills (Photography & Digital Media) course you will learn the fundamentals of photography as an art form, developing practical skills and techniques to use photographic equipment to capture images.
You will learn how to use professional software to edit images and use digital applications such as Photoshop to create imaginative and professional-looking pieces of digital artwork, building a portfolio of work through completing project briefs.
On completion of this Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design Skills (Photography & Digital Media) course, you could progress to the Level 3 Photography or Level 3 Digital Media course.
