Do you want to express your creative self and discover your artistic identity? When you join us on our photography course you’ll be creating photographic content for your portfolio, producing original work and styling your own photography shoots in our professional studio. You’ll also be working on commissions with community arts organisations like Multistory and exhibiting your own final collections in the Sandwell Arts Café and other cultural venues.
Our Photography students work on acclaimed projects in collaboration with international and local artists. Magnum photographer Martin Parr and Mark Power, Brighton University’s Professor of Photography, have both mentored our learners. Some of our students have successfully competed in the Penguin Book Design Fujifilm Student Awards, or even been selected to photograph a Royal Wedding. Another made it to the Miami Fashion Week Student Photographer of the Year shortlist.
