SELF-RAISING SIXTH FORMERS

Central Sixth committee members raised nearly £60 in one morning with their own bake off sale. The proceeds from their World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event will all now go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

LITERATURE STUDENTS FOLLOW IN STEPS OF SHAKESPEARE

A Level English Literature students from Central Sixth followed in the footsteps of Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon. The sixth formers visited the medieval market town to see the 16th Century birthplace of the great Bard, and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre for a performance of Cymbeline. More pictures    

BLACK HISTORY EXTRAVAGANZA

Students and staff enjoyed a fantastic fusion of cultural activities yesterday at the college’s Black History Extravaganza. The event featured poetry reading, singers, reggae music, African drumming, soul vibes, Black History workshops, hair braiding, nail art, a dance group, a Gospel choir, and community health initiatives, as well as African Caribbean food.
