Musicians, artists and exhibitors came together for a Black History Month showcase at Sandwell College.
The event was hosted by the Students Union in the college atrium in association with Marcia Wilson from Sandwell Council. Food samples were given out, prizes were on offer, a live DJ performed, and there were interactive African drum lessons, as well as stalls selling various gifts.
Coordinator Matt Hammett said: “We hope this event will lay the foundation for future BHM showcase events for local community organisations, musicians, artists and exhibitors to come together under our roof and celebrate BHM and what it has to offer in our local area.
“This is a feelgood event with a positive message.”
