Curriculum teams from across Sandwell College recently came together at the Cradley Heath Skills Campus site to see the latest progress on one of the region’s most exciting new developments.
Staff from Construction, Health and Social Care, ESOL, Foundation Learning, Finance, IT, and Estates were invited to explore the campus in progress and contribute ideas to help shape the next phase of its development.
This cross-college collaboration provided a valuable opportunity to align the vision of the campus with the real-world needs of students, staff, and the wider community.
Built by Speller Metcalfe and funded through Sandwell Council’s Towns Fund, the Cradley Heath Skills Campus will become a dynamic hub for career-focused, hands-on learning which is tailored to meet the demands of local employers and empower learners with skills for life.
Once completed, the campus will play a transformative role in boosting skills, employment, and social inclusion across the Black Country, acting as a catalyst for opportunity and regeneration.
