Leading arts organisations are helping to shape the creative curriculum for Sandwell College students through the new Creative Arts employer advisory board.
Board members include Arts Council, Creative Alliance, Creative Black Country, Multistory, Sandwell Arts, Wolverhampton University, and individual representatives and artists Geoff Broadway, Richard Flatley, Lina Hashweh, Steven Mills and Jackie Roxborough.
They recently met with course leaders to give unique insights into the skills needed for students to forge careers in the arts, and how the college can best prepare learners for the next step into employment. Employers can also provide a valuable contribution to the college through their knowledge, experiences and expertise.
