Four Supported Learning students are celebrating after achieving their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Awards.
Josh Parkes, Toni-Marie Smith, Gagandeep Rana, and Faizaan Nazir had to work alongside others, complete voluntary work, and master map reading, cooking and camping, as part of their tasks. The students were assisted on their expeditions by Student Liaison Manager David Hughes.
Tutor Shelly Greenway said: “They have worked really hard to achieve their Bronze Award, and some of the learners are now continuing with the Silver Award.”
Josh added: “I’ve been working on the Duke of Edinburgh award with the college and I’ve enjoyed it so much, I’m going to complete the whole lot.”
