Functional Skills students enjoyed a week of interactive activities – from mocktail ratio measuring to probability exercises with giant playing cards.
More than 200 learners attended the English & Maths Fair to enhance their functional skills and promote skills development. Staff used the results of the activities to assess students’ levels.
Director of Adult, Community & Foundation Learning, Ann Llewellyn, said: “Students on breaks and lunch times have joined in, and many students have stayed longer than their allocated class time, which is great and testament to how well the activities have been received.”
