Spring has sprung early for Foundation Learning students who have launched the Sandwell College Allotments outside the campus.
Already bursting with colourful flowering plants and a selection of herbs, the raised beds have been created with the help of the Construction team.
The aim of the allotments is to bring the College and community closer together.
Head of Foundation Learning, Elaine Groves, said: “Sandwell allotments are managed by our students. They choose what to grow, plant, tender and harvest the produce ready to sell to students, staff and visitors to the college. Any unsold produce is shared with the local community.”
