The Learning Technology Department and FabLab are pleased to announce the launch of our College Chatbot. This is in a pilot project in partnership with the JISC National centre for AI in Tertiary Education
Sandwell are one of only 4 colleges nationwide to be participating in this project.
The Chatbot aims to answer many of the day to day questions that learners ask, saving them time and taking some of the strain from front line services such as Reception, Admissions, Welfare and ILT. The Chatbot Interface sits within the college Moodle provision and is accessible 24/7.
Examples of questions are:
How do I find out my timetable?
What do I do if I lose my ID Card?
Can I change my Password?
Where can I buy food in college?
