Staff and students at the Sandwell Family of Colleges in Birmingham and the West Midlands have been celebrating record A Level success.
Students at Central Saint Michael’s Sixth Form in West Bromwich have achieved exceptional results, building on the university style sixth form’s strong track record by achieving a pass rate of 100% across more than 50 individual subjects.
Over 50% of students achieved A* and B grades, and are now preparing to make their educational mark at Birmingham’s own universities, as well as a number of leading institutions across the UK.
Cadbury Sixth Form College is celebrating a 99% pass rate in A Level subjects, with more than 30 subjects with a 100% pass rate, reflecting the hard work of both staff and students.
Alongside a number of university acceptances, the results have enabled students to secure a broad range of opportunities including further education, apprenticeships and work placements.
Graham Pennington, Principal and Chief Executive at Sandwell College said: “I am incredibly proud of the results from across our family of colleges. Staff and students have all worked exceptionally hard across a hugely challenging 18 months, and these results are testament to both their resilience, and their focus on achieving their very best. We can’t wait to see what this talented class of 2021 go on to accomplish next.”
Enrolment across all three colleges starts on Thursday 12th August at Cadbury Sixth Form College, Central Saint Michael’s Sixth Form and Sandwell College.
