What are CMI Qualifications?

What do the different levels of study mean?
Designed in collaboration with employers, CMI qualifications offer a range of opportunities for professionals at all levels in management and leadership roles. We offer the following CMI courses:
Award: Entry level – offers a short, concise understanding – takes 1-3 months to complete
Certificate: Intermediate level – covers a broader base of knowledge – takes 3-6 months
Diploma: Advanced level – provides a comprehensive depth of learning – takes 6-12 months

There are a number of study options available to suit your lifestyle as we know how busy people’s lives are.
Flexi study
The Flexi-Study approach combines one day a month of face-to-face classroom teaching with independent distance learning, using online, on-demand learning materials which are available 24/7. You will also have a dedicated tutor who is there to support you throughout your studies via scheduled online assignment workshops and a personal tutorial to provide support with each assignment. The monthly classes are delivered at Sandwell College’s Professional Studies Centre at Bennetts Hill in Birmingham City Centre. New Street Station and Snow Hill Station are only a few minutes walk away and the area is well served by buses and trams.
Evening course
Evening courses are delivered fully online with ‘real-time’ interactive classes taking place online. Online, on-demand learning materials are available 24/7 and are accessible by both PCs and mobile devices.
Distance
The classes are delivered online – flexible to suit you. Start date and end date to suit the learner.
Which courses are free?
All Level 3 and 5 CMI courses are free for anyone aged 19 or over and living in the West Midlands. Some of these courses usually cost thousands so don’t miss out!
