Star performers at Sandwell College are getting into the Olympic spirit, celebrating a golden set of A Level results. Students at Central Sixth campus matched last year’s excellent grades, achieving an impressive 99 per cent pass rate overall.
Nahid Ali is now set to study International Relations at the prestigious London School of Economics – one of the foremost social science universities in the world – after accomplishing top scores in History, Philosophy of Religious Studies & Ethics, and Sociology. He said: “I worked really hard to achieve this, but I didn’t expect to get in.”
It was twice the delight for twins Alice and Amy Ramdehal, who achieved double success with two As each. Alice got AABB in Politics, Extended Project, History and Law, while Amy got AABC in Psychology, Extended Project, Sociology and History.
Chloe Stevens has been offered a place at the University of Birmingham to read Medicine. She achieved AAB grades in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
