Applications levels for Central Campus are extremely high, so the earlier you apply the better. Here’s what to do:
Website:
Look around our website and see the complete range of courses. If you’re certain you know what you want to do, fill in an application form on-line. We’d still encourage you to come to one of our open events, chat with our lecturers and see the College for yourself.
Visit:
The best way to find out about our courses is to visit one of our open events. You can get expert advice and guidance and the chance to talk to our lecturers about how the courses work and whether they are right for you. You can enquire about as many courses as you like, ask all of your questions and see the facilities you’ll be using.
Apply:
Fill in the application form on-line, at an open event, or in the back of our prospectus.
Interview:
For all full-length courses and many others, you’ll be invited for an interview almost immediately after you apply. The interview is not a test – it’s to make sure that you are picking the right course or courses for you and your ambitions. Please try not to miss your interview, but if you do, don’t worry, we’ll contact you to invite you again. For some courses, you may also be asked to do an assessment to see what level of course you should join us on.
Offer:
You’ll be offered a place at the interview if your application is successful. Please make sure that you accept the offer so that we know you are coming. A letter will be sent to you asking you to confirm your acceptance.
Queries:
If you have any questions about courses, the College or your application, call the Student Service Team free on 0800 622006, and they will be able to help you.
Discovery Days:
We shall invite you to a Discovery Day, when you can meet other people who will be on the course, see what your classes will be like, and do some entertaining activities with your lecturers.
Enrolment:
There will be some enrolment forms to fill in, just before you start your course. We shall contact you to tell you when to come in and enrol.
